So... I'm going to Bangladesh to shoot some photos and hopefully have a little vacation. If I dont get back in a month or so please send more gold to the rebels because I might still be alive! :|

Anyway... Later guys.

Pwn. Wrote an essay on the development of Bangladesh the other day. Fascinating country in a lot of ways. Have fun (and don't buy cheap childs-labor cloths!)

Dude! There's nothing to do there! At least when I was there all i spent doing was fishing and throwing soap/soft drinks to the passing boat people.

Oh, eat LOTS of mud crab if you get the chance. It's really awesome from there and super fresh.

But that's what makes it great place to spend holiday, just relax without worrying about schedules.

Still alive.

I didn't go here to hang around the beach and/or a swimming pool.
I went here to set things in perspective and maybe learn something about what goes on outside our little European eggshell.

When that's said I gotta say... this is one crazy place. Poverty, dirt, hardcore traffic like you can't imagine, odd military checkpoints. People litterally live in their own shit at some places - And still they are happy. We could learn from that when we complain about things.

Anyway... going out of Dhaka for a few days to wind down in the mangroves.

Yea, who wants a guilt-free holiday anyway. Which is why I've developed a new NELLY'S PERSPECTIVE HOLIDAY package.

1) Take a few days off
2) Get a disguise
3) Commit crimes
4) ???
5) Profit

And if it's an extreme holiday you're after, skip 2. The memories are sure to last longer than a sweaty trip to some beach country.
I've got no friends 'cause they read the papers.

Even the little kids in Bangladesh don't have respect for photographers anymore, just giving them fingers.

I don't see them care either, wether they know it or not, I felt intimidated by that photo. Should a kid should do something like that here they get punished. With everyone wanting an equal humanity I think they should too. Because there is no difference, right?

Looked through your flickr album, some really good pictures in there! granted, I know next to nothing about photography

Sounds like a different vacation, but surely a good experience for us lucky europeans to see how some people live their lifes.
