I did the New York -> San Fransisco -> LA/Santa Monica -> Grand Canyon -> Las Vegas tour some years ago.
I really liked Santa Monica back then. LA downtown was very bad, but the "suburbs" rock with lots of things to do. New York is like Tino wrote. I liked NY as well.
Las Vegas is boring after 2 days of you dont want to gamble or act crazy.

I'm told San Diego should be really nice, but we never went.

But as Tino also said... it's alot about what you want to see and who you are.

As it is now I would rather go to asia I think. Nepal or 'nam perhaps.

We're going diving in Egypt next year, Lad at our Rugby Club owns a Diving school here in Cambridge and takes trips out to Egypt so we only have to pay for our Flights ^.^

I'm going to pass my Army selection this month FOR SURE, i've been training for it for 3months solid now so i'm pumped up and ready to stomp this shit.

But yeah the trip to Egypt I'm getting for half price since I know the owner, I only pay for my flight + food/drink and gear rental, accomodation etc is free of charge (woot) and I figured by then (12months in the army, £1k a month, £1.4k after 12months)

Trip to L.A. I have some mooneh stashed away for a rainy day + gf is chipping in a wee bit + parents are helping out ^^
